Allyson Carranza was born in Lima, Peru, in 1986. She moved to Utah with her mother and sister in 2005 when her mother remarried. She has since been studying at Utah State University working towards a Bachelor of Science in Theater Performance.

Allyson has participated in many performances at Utah State University where she has consistently demonstrated her extreme skill and talent. She more recently impressed her audience in her roll as Mrs. White in "The Monkey's Paw." Allyson skillfully emanated the emotions of Mrs. White to the audience.

Allyson's most recent accomplishment was her direction of the one-act play "Wanda's Visit.
